Hmm, this is a nice song!
I cannot say I got the 'Jungle' feel but it was really good all the same.
I made this one a little shorter to try and reduce the repetitiveness that usually plagues my songs, as a few of you have been kind of enough to point out.
There are tribes of magical creatures everywhere in this jungle, and every night, they slowly emerge from their hiding places, and perform mysterious ceremonies, filled with strange dancing, chanting, and other bizarre activities.
Sometimes they get hammered, though. I mean, if you're only going to come out once a day, you might as well make it worthwhile (it's a party and all). Don't worry, their rituals protect them from alcohol poisoning lol.

good
I really like it after the bass stops ( at about 56 seconds). Even the notes played while the bass is going sound out of place (and abrupt in places). That part makes me think more of a slum for some reason--with things lurking in the shadows.
Then the uplifting part of the song begins. May just be me, but it makes me think of Neverending Story--or just about any fantasy movie, just after the hero saves the day (oh! Legend--can't forget Legend).
However, it doesn't make me think of the jungle at all. It makes me think of mountains or flying (on the back of a dragon, for instance).
I think you used all the wrong instruments to portray a jungle setting. Not really the right drums either. None of the instruments really sound earthy enough--well, the tambourine is iffy (personally, it makes me think of gypsies).
A reed flute would have sounded more appropriate than the organ (I'm guessing that was an organ in the first part of the song). In your Author's Comments, you mention magical creatures chanting, but there's nothing in the song that sounds like chanting. And not all drums necessarily sound earthy--I'm guessing a taiko drum might work. You'd probably want to avoid most piano's and brass instruments.
At one point, you have what sounds like wind blowing (it may be my imagination, but I keep subtly hearing it in the background). Anyway, wind is perhaps a poor choice for portraying a jungle. Wind makes me think of the desert or mountains--or flying. I'd more expect to hear rain in the jungle. A light but steady vox might work--for the chanting. You could try to be more Ewok-ey--I mean the original Ewok chanting before Lucas went and "updated" their chanting.
Despite all that I said, I still really like the piece.
But you could probably just change all the instruments without changing the song and give it more of a jungle feel.
Damn, guess I really dropped the ball on this one XD
Nah, I get it. When I mention chanting, I just meant as a visual thing. The things I describe are what I see when I hear this song, but clearly it's different for everybody. Granted, the sound choices were not the greatest :p
Yea, people don't like that bass XD sorry about that.
I'm sorry it didn't really work for you (all the wrong intruments!?!?! XP I have failed lol), but I appreciate your time, so thanks for listening!
nice
it sounds good
Very nice sounding
Some good beats in this piece really do compliment this very enjoyable piece of music. I think that you've got a good sense of timing and the way that the piece powers itself onwards is very nice.
You've gone for some nice choices with the variation and have made it very good to listen to. With this in mind, the instrument selection has given a good timbre to it all, particularly the way that you used something sounding a little like a harpsicord.
I would work with the volumes of the piece, as some of them are very loud and some very soft. Balancing these out could really make for a very enjoyable piece to listen to.

I know what you're getting at, but my music sounds very different depending on what you are listening to it on (headphones, speakers, car stereo, etc...), so I guess it varies with everyone. Granted, it still isn't balanced perfectly.

Love the melody of the main synth; it really creates this kind of ominous, otherworldly feeling, and doesn't overpower any of the other instruments. The synths in general just give this kind of magic feel because next to the natural sounds of the drums they DO sound very different, and when put in the setting of a jungle there is that idea that these synths do symbolise the more magical aspect of it
The drums themselves are pretty good, although the jungle feel is kind of lost in the translation. Jungle sounds as far as I perceive them tend to be more tom-heavy, and seldom if ever have such prominent cymbal line. When I think jungle, I kind of think people hitting sticks off trees and things like that, and so there's less of a place for the crisper sound of splash cymbals and hi-hats, if you know what I mean. The sense of a ritual as well also to me should feel less upbeat than it does here, but maybe that's just me being melancholy xD. That nitpickery aside, I like what you've done with the drums in themselves; they're nicely EQ'd and the beat's pretty varied.
I think the message of the jungle could maybe have been evoked a little more, but as a piece in itself I couldn't really fault this; keep it up.
